Daisies Needs YOU!
It was Mark Twain who said, “The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.” And apparently the same applies to our beloved Pushing Daisies. Sources tell me PD has not received the last rights and been canceled – Yet. But ABC will be using tonight’s episode, and possibly next week’s as the final and critical test; If the ratings improve, PD will be saved. If not, they’ll bring in the mower.
ABC are apparently hoping that now the endless and boring election is over people will tune in again, and PD’s numbers will be restored to something more befitting a series of so high a caliber. If this is the case, the ax will not fall. So tune in tonight, and get all your friends to do likewise – The future of quality, intellectually engaging TV is literally now in your hands.
