In a sad piece of news that has not, so far, been picked up by the US media, one of Australia’s major newspapers is reporting that Patrick Swayze has begun taking his final bows. The pancreatic cancer that was diagnosed earlier this year has spread and he’s been advised by his Physicians to say his goodbyes.
They say life is unfair, but this is just inhumane – We only just lost Paul Newman. Why must all the good, talented, valuable people be taken too early?
If you admire his work, spare a thought and a prayer. He’s brought pleasure to millions and done harm to no-one. This is neither the end nor reward he deserves.
