As we all know, this business is fixated on looks; The better you look, the more you succeed. And that simple rule holds just as true for those people like me who work far away from the flashlights and glamour. Making movies is great, but what goes unseen is the endless parade of trade shows and schmoozing that gets that new movie in front of the public.
The market is tough and first impressions are vital, so your display stands had better be premium-grade and bring in some sales or the Investors can cause you some trouble [and trust me, they love to!] If you go to the shows, you know what I mean. Acting is easy; Selling acting is hard. And we don’t even get an award.
