After a banquet of hype about how ‘brave’ they both were to be shooting in Mexico at the height of the ‘Swine Flu’ scare stories, the results of Heidi and Spencer’s ill-judged sojourn – Heidi’s new video – have been released to the world.
And a more accomplished example of compound mediocrity it truly is hard to imagine.
While mercifully short at 3m.30s, the camera work is unskilled, the lyrics are unintelligible, there are 200 session-singers in LA alone with far better voices, and a wizened bikini does not make a star.

If anyone can give me a single, sane reason – other than the obvious publicity – why this had to be shot in Mexico, I’d be interested to hear. You could dress any southern CA beach to look just the same, and no risk of swine flu would have ever come close. Add a personalized tote bag and the effect is complete.
