Gordon Ramsay rebuffed over tasteless remark

gordon-ramsayAfter running his mouth off – again – British TV chef Gordon Ramsay just got a well-earned rebuke from Australian Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, who called him a ‘low-life.’

For reasons unknown, the uncouth Mr. Ramsay, 42, was allowed to appear at the ‘Good Food and Wine’ trade show in Melbourne on Saturday. During a demonstration of his culinary prowess, and responding to audience input, he inferred that Tracy Grimshaw, a well-known Oz TV presenter who interviewed Ramsay the previous day, was a pig and even a lesbian.

Prime Minister Rudd saw the show, and countered the insult by defining the overblown cook as ‘a new form of low-life.’

Ms. Grimshaw was also no slouch to respond. Using her nationwide talk show on Australia’s ‘Nine’ network, she joined Mr. Rudd in his well-metered response by calling Gordon, ‘an arrogant narcissist.’ at which her all-female audience erupted in cheers. She also touched on his marriage, which has been the focus of gossip since allegations arose that Gordon indulged in a long-term affair, “We’ve all seen how Gordon treats his wife, and he supposedly loves her. Obviously he thinks any woman who doesn’t find him attractive is gay. For the record, I don’t and I’m not.”

As Ramsay clearly lacks the required organs himself, a spokesman has since apologized for him, saying his client admits the review was unkind.”His comments relating to Tracy were off the cuff and in response to heckling from the audience.” she tried to explain “His intention was to make a joke, and he did raise a big laugh at the time.”

Ramsay himself has merely opted for that wearied excuse that is the refuge of cowards; He claims that his comments were  reviewed ‘out of context.’

He showed a picture of a naked woman on all fours, with multiple breasts and the face of a pig and said, “that’s Tracy Grimshaw.” How do you take that ‘out of context’ ?!
