After five years, 48 awards and 147 nominations, ‘Lost’ is finally reaching the end. This is a sad day. Despite valiant efforts by dozens of blogs and web sites to rally the faithful, ABC has finally decided to kill “Pushing Daisies.” The press release doesn’t actually use the word ‘canceled,’ but PD’s odds of return or survival make the proverbial snowball’s look like a [...] The news is not good. According to those who are advised on such things, Pushing Daisies is effectively dead. Rumors of its demise have been rife for weeks, but Daisies completed its current 13-episode order this week and ABC has made no effort to order more, which is usually a bad sign.
