In news that should fill the nation’s basements with cheering, Sam Raimi has just signed on to direct a real-life portrayal of the massively popular, geek-friendly game, ‘World of Warcraft.’ Warner Brothers, in collusion with Legendary Pictures, their partner on such worldwide crowd-pleasers as “Batman: The Dark Knight,” and the tribal [...] Having already made the film once, Warner Brothers have now announced that they and Leonardo DiCaprio are in discussions to make yet another ‘Twilight Zone’ movie. The 34-year old actor has been in talks with Warners regarding the project for over a year, and the studio has just hired largely unknown writer, Rand [...] Is it just me or is anyone else fed up to the teeth with all the self-serving hype about Watchmen? The movie is based on a 23-year old comic strip, so it could be argued that with a target audience of such obvious intellectual simplicity you need to promote the film [...] |
